44th IAEE Conference to Attract Policymakers, Academics, Companies, and Organizations

 

The Organizing Committee of the 44th International Conference of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) has completed preparations to host the conference, which is taking place for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region, from 4-9 February 2023 at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center.
The conference, held under the theme “Pathways to a Clean, Stable and Sustainable Energy Future”, attracts several policymakers, academics, companies, and NGOs within an effective platform to present and discuss current obstacles and potential solutions to the challenges of energy sustainability.
This event reiterates the commitment of the region’s leaders to take serious and strict measures to confront the challenges of climate change, ahead of the “COP 28” conference scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates in 2023.

Along with regular visits to the Historical Diriyah, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kingdom, it will also feature a variety of social and cultural events intended at increasing participants’ knowledge of the history and heritage of the Kingdom.
